Who we are and what we do…
Dolmen Sports are a sports event company based in the west of Ireland. We have been organising events in spectacular locations since 2009, including 10ks, half marathons, marathons, ultra marathons, triathlons, mountain biking events, adventure races and corporate events. We hope to see you on the start line at our next one.
Kinvara Rock and Road
Every March up to 1800 participants head to the seaside village of Kinvara for a 10K, a half marathon or a 3/4 marathon in a stunning part of the west of Ireland. All three races start in or close to the village of Kinvara and the last few hundred metres bring you along by the water before you cross the finish line on the quay. Stick around for the weekend and enjoy not only the stunning scenery around the course but also the great atmosphere around the village.
Connemarathon
The Connemarathon is one of the world’s most scenic events, set in the dramatic scenery of the west of Ireland. It takes place every April and began in 2002. The 2500 participants take on the half, full and ultra marathons in the dramatic landscape which winds in and around the challenging wilderness of Connemara. International participants enjoy the Irish welcome, the comradeship on the lonely route and the unmistakable buzz throughout the day.
